Refund policy

Damaged or Incorrect Product Received:

If for any reason, your product's performance is compromised due to defects in material or workmanship, we want the opportunity to make it right. We stand behind our work and want to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase.

If you received the wrong item in your order or if your order was damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately so that we can direct you on how to return any items to us and we can ship the proper items to you.

At its discretion, Exponent Edge may vary the standard returns process for any reason, including for customers in specific geographic locations. For example, the cost to return merchandise to Exponent Edge may warrant the merchandise being retained by the customer rather than being shipped back to Exponent Edge. 

For any return where Exponent Edge has chosen not to have the product shipped back to it, Exponent Edge may instruct the customer on the following options:  

  • Recycle or salvage
  • Disposal through appropriate Hazardous/Regulated Waste process (if applicable)
  • Destroy/general waste disposal 

By accepting the replacement product, you agree to comply with any instructions to destroy or dispose of the product and to further confirm that Exponent Edge will have no liability related to a defective product being replaced.

Returns:

Listings noted as “Scratch and Dent” or “Blemished” items are not eligible for return or warranty claims.  

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we allow returns for up to 14 days after your order has been delivered, provided it is unused and is in new condition. 

  • All returns must be submitted through email, jay@exponentedge.com, within 14 days of delivery. Once approved, a shipping label will be provided.
  • Exponent Edge will offer a refund of your original purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee and minus the return shipping cost so long as it is within 14 days of your delivery date.  
  • Item(s) must be in new condition when returned — please note that wear and tear from use may prevent your item from qualifying for a refund. 
  • All items must be unaltered for returns and items must be returned in their original packaging.
  • Returned items will be evaluated to ensure new condition before a refund is processed; once delivered to our return department. Please allow 5-7 business days for your refund to be processed. It may take your bank 3 business days to have it processed and appear on your account. 
  • Exponent Edge does not accept returns  after 14 days of the delivery date.
  • All international sales, as well as orders shipped outside the contiguous United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories), are final. These orders are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

Exchange Policy:

We want you to love your gear. If you need to make an exchange, we’re here to help make it as smooth as possible.

For any exchange, shipping costs will apply for both the return of your original item and the delivery of your new item. Our team will guide you through the process so your replacement gets to you quickly and hassle-free.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders and back-orders allow you to reserve your spot in the production queue.  If you cancel after that reservation is made but processing has not started, you can be refunded 50% of your deposit. After the product starts, your deposit is non-refundable—because we’ve already started building your gear. Read more about our pre-orders process here. 

Special & Custom Orders:

Any special or custom orders cannot be returned unless damaged in shipment. A Custom order is any order that requires communication with the Exponent Edge Team and a product that cannot simply be purchased on the website. An example would include a request for a Bracket and Arm only for an Infinity arm as these parts are not normally sold Individually. 

Warranties

In the claims process, please understand that warrantied products are replaced at Exponent Edge's discretion and warranties do not cover normal product wear. Products modified or repaired outside of Exponent Edge will be void of warranty coverage. Warranties may be voided if the product is damaged due to negligent use, maintenance, storage, or handling by the user. Exponent Edge does not guarantee compatibility with other company products and warranties can be voided in these cases.

Exponent Edge will warranty welds on these products for Lifetime. Frame warranties from defects in material, functionality, and workmanship are warrantied for one year from the time of received purchase of the product. "Lifetime" warranty coverage ends when the product becomes unusable for reasons other than defects in material or workmanship. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Padding is warrantied for 90 days from date of received purchase.

This does not apply to basic barbell maintenance. NOTE: The warranty policy does not apply to any products that leave the lower 48 states.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders:

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, reject, limit, or cancel any order at any time, including after an order has been submitted or payment has been authorized.

Circumstances that may result in cancellation include, but are not limited to:

  • Inventory inaccuracies or stock shortages
  • Pricing, description, or typographical errors
  • Suspected reseller activity
  • Fraud prevention concerns
  • Orders deemed harmful to our business operations or community

In the event of cancellation, customers will be notified and issued a refund for any charges processed.

Submission of an order does not constitute final acceptance of that order.
